University Park is located in the community of State College, PA - smack dab in the center of the state. Need we say it - we're a college town and home to Penn State's largest campus. Nicknamed Happy Valley, University Park is nestled between the Mt. Nittany and Tussey Mountain ridges. While we may be known for our blue and white, in June we're all about the lush, mountain green that covers the ridges.
Getting to the center of Pennsylvania is a little challenging at times, but it's doable, and much more fun if you decide to carpool or fly with nearby colleagues.
The conference and lodging are located at: Penn Stater Conference Center and Hotel, 215 Innovation Boulevard; State College, PA 16803.
Once again, we'll take over the Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel with our gregarious, friendly selves. Rooms are available at: $129 single; $139 double; $149 triple; $159 quad.
Book your room online or call 1-800-233-7505. Use the reservation code WEBF15C. Conference rate good through May 28.
The two most popular methods of transportation are by car or by plane.
If you plan to four-wheel it, check out the Penn Stater’s directions and map.
If you plan to wing it, see University Park Airport for flight information. Note that the city name/airport is SCE. SCE has direct flights to and from Atlanta (Saturdays only), Chicago (O'Hare), Detroit, Philadelphia, and Washington, DC.
Other transportation options are found through the Central Pennsylvania Convention and Visitors Bureau.
