Publishing Scholarly Articles on the Web

Presenter: Jerry Maddox

Description: Most Web pages use only a fraction of the tags available, and Web pages are poorly styled for readability. Those rarely used tags are extremely useful in the context of scholarly publications: inline quotes, proper use of block quotes, citations, attributes table attributes, to name a few. And how text content responds to careful attention to typography!

Prerequisite Skills: standards-compliant page markup and design
