Registration will be located in the former front desk, inside and to the left of the rotating doors. - Book Signing
Steve Krug will be available from 8:00 - 8:30 AM to sign his book, “Don't Make Me Think!” The book will be available for purchase at the Penn State Bookstore table located beside registration while supplies last. The early bird will catch the worm - Flexible start of the day
The registration will open at 7:30. The poster sessions, book signing and vendor displays (also new this year!) will be located in the Senate Suites from 8:00 - 8:50, along with a breakfast break. The opening general session will begin at 8:50 in Presidents Hall with welcoming remarks and comments, followed at 9:00 by the keynote presentation by Steve Krug. - Town Meeting
Rather than the usual general session that closes the conference at the end of the day, we will host a town meeting with Penn State’s CIO, Kevin Morooney, and our invited speakers from other Higher Education Institutions. - Restaurant Hops following the town meeting.
A new networking opportunity will be inaugurated at the conference this year. Following the town meeting, you may join with other conference attendees at your choice of several local restaurants to further the conversations of the day and extend the fun. The conference planning committee will make reservations for the group and provide a host or hostess, however the cost of dinner will be your responsibility. - Tutorial registration
You will receive tutorial registration information at the main conference on June 9. No need to check in on Tuesday, just go to your tutorial room! - Tutorial lunch
Lunch will be provided for tutorial attendees on June 10 and the cost will be included in the tutorial fees. Therefore, you will get a discount if you attend two tutorials (one in the morning and one in the afternoon) unless you choose the free Birds of a Feather tutorial in the afternoon. - Birds of a Feather free tutorial
New to the tutorials this year, a free option for birds of a feather to flock together. Since this tutorial is free, no lunch will be provided for attendees (unless you also attend a morning tutorial which includes the cost of lunch). Afternoon snacks will be available for the flock. - Poster and Vendor Sessions
Poster sessions will be held during the conference this year—and—for the very first time this year—a variety of University-approved vendors will join the poster sessions!The poster and vendor sessions will be held in the Penn Stater's Senate Suite.
